To ensure the supply of essential medicines during the pandemic, Hipolabor gave priority and increased the production of drugs aimed to treat patients hospitalized due to Coronavirus.
In 2020 alone, Hipolabor produced 150 million doses of anesthetics used in Covid-19 treatment, becoming a reference and an injectable generics production leader in Brazil.
Montes Claros manufacturing unit has a total area of 1,300,000 square feet. The facilities have state-of-the-art equipment and technology, strict technical standards, capacity and a team of highly trained employees to work in the manufacture of medicines.
The processes automation more than doubled Hipolabor’s throughtput, strengthening Montes Claros production unit, located in the North of Minas Gerais, as one of the most modern in generics production in the Brazil.
